To create the book covers, I opened up a template from Adobe Bridge in Illustrator.
I used solid blocks of colour over which I laid the title of each book and the Authors name.
I then added the the title and author name to the spine, along with a picture of Poe, which I set at the top of the page. I found a PNG file of the Penguin Books logo. I then added in a barcode.
I used this as a template for each book cover. I set different background colours for each book, which I believed would compliment the artwork.
